CrossFit in the News
Check out this link to see some news coverage on CrossFit Orange County.
The video show’s how Fire Fighters in Orange County are using CrossFit to train for the physical demands their job requires. Fire Captain Jeff Hughes, and CrossFit OCC owner, describes how he turned to CrossFit after his traditional training regime based on long, slow distance (LSD) techniques wasn’t giving him the strength and endurance he needed to stay safe and save lives while on the job. There is even a testimonial from a former Olympian.

Looking for Space
I have been taking tours of a few various locations this past week, and it is looking like a location for Midland and area’s athletes to hang out has been
found
. Talks will be underway this week to finalize the details, but I am hoping to have a dedicated CrossFit facility in Midland open by July 1st. (Cross your fingers)
In the meantime, we will be doing group workouts in various outdoor locations, mostly Little Lake Park. For more info, and to get on the mailing list for these sessions, please sign up for the RAW CrossFit Newsletter .
